Big Mac

This velvet hippo is Big Mac, really he should be called Big Giant Lovebug. Don't let his size intimidate you, this guy is as gentle as they come. He was found as a stray and hopped right in our Animal Control officer's truck as if to say "I'm ready for my new life please." He came into the shelter clearly having had a rough life, but he continues to be loving and cuddly. He loves his daily walks and any affection he gets, and he especially loves playing with his favorite female dog friend in the play yard. Then he happily goes back to his kennel, patiently waiting for when it's his turn to go home. The sweet boy was adopted, but is now back with us. Turns out he and the resident cat weren't a good match, so no cats for this guy. Big Mac is 86 pounds, neutered, and vaccinated. He is too big for a small shelter kennel. If you open up your heart and home, he will give you a lifetime of love and joy. Come give this gentle giant a couch to call home!
