Billie Crystal is a healthy, 2 y/o, 45 lb. female German Shepherd mix that was saved from euthanasia in an overcrowded TX shelter.
She is playful, cuddly, and loves everyone...except cats!
She is a wonderful dog with great people skills (engaged and cuddly in a polite way), impeccable indoor manners, and some obedience training - she already knows "come", "sit", "leave it", and "no".
Billie Crystal is eager to please, crate trained, and walks nicely on the leash.
From what we know, she is good with other dogs, but we think she'd prefer to be the only pup in the home as she seems to be somewhat of a "velcro" pup and wants all the attention.
In other words, we have seen her exhibit some jealousy. This is not uncommon when a dog has been starved of human affection/attention. Once they finally get it, they don’t want to share it with anyone. And, she is definitely protective of her people when strangers come over.
Definitely NO CATS or other small animals!
