Bindi Seeking a Life of Leisure

Meet Bindi! She enjoys cold-brew coffee and being the first one to discover an old dive bar. She enjoys selling refurbished Polaroid cameras on Etsy and is currently working on a cookbook of vegan meals prepared entirely on a 1992 Easy-Bake Oven. However, she does claim to have no idea who the Backstreet Boys are. Bindi is the sweetest girl you will ever meet! There is no denying that! Bindi has a calm demeanor and yet enjoys having her playtime, especially with a tennis ball. She lives with another dog (male bulldog) and does well with him. She would do well as an only dog or with others! She would be the perfect addition to any home but she did have one request. She asked us if she could have a yard. Bindi enjoys any time she can get outdoors, whether laying in the yard or going on a nice long walk. Bindi adores going walks and is gentle on a leash. She gets so excited that she does pull a bit so will need some guidance but she takes correction well. Bindi is a good girl on car rides, would prefer to spend her time sleeping while you drive. Her calm demeanor makes her the perfect dog to pack up and take camping, hiking, or just around town! She would make the best girl to take for a brewery date! Bidi loves to give kisses, rolls on her back from chest rubs, and will follow you around the house. Need a bathroom buddy? Bindi is your girl! Someone to help you cook dinner? She has your back! And the floor for crumbs! Bindi is potty trained. She knows how to sit on command and does it immediately without being asked after a potty break. She has learned house manners very well. She knows that good girls get treats for going outside! Bindi is extremely gentle and takes treats very politely. She would never dare to be impolite. She is a very smart girl and would be extremely easy to train with her love of food. Bindi loves her humans! Kiddos are her forte, though her happy wiggle butt might knock them over, unintentionally of course! Bindi currently has a brother who is 9 years old. And she LOVES him! He lets her cuddle on his bed and she will superspeed wag her tail. She loves getting her fill of love and pets from him! Bindi is a sweet & happy girl that wants to be part of a family. She is crate trained and loves to spend her evening winding down in there. Bindi loves to snuggle up in her crate with her bed and settle in for family movie night.. she would prefer the couch if you are open to it;) She truly just wants to be near her people and please them all of the time! Bindi is a beautiful pit mix, she is around 4 years of age She is the picture-perfect medium sized girl. A lil' plump but she's happy curvy. Does she sound like the perfect addition to your family? We think so! Fully vetted - Spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, testing negative for heartworms (on prevention). From appearance Bindi is labeled a Black Labrador mix from the shelter. Her coat and agreeable temperament, -we agree she's a lab mix. We do not complete DNA testing. History : found in a county shelter south of Houston, with her puppies. Another rescue took her puppies but did not make room for her. This placed her on the euthanasia list for the following Monday morning. Hope & Freedom went to meet her and surprised at how well mannered, calm and friendly she was. Quiet, good in a car, knew some basic commands - we had to take a chance on this black mama dog. After calling friends, finding a foster -we made a plan. FACT: Black dogs are overlooked in shelters, take longer to adopt even in rescue due to poor quality photos or just preference toward dog's with color.
