My Story: Binky is as cute as you'll find! His owners were very irresponsible, which is why about 8 months ago we had his 2 other brothers available for adoption too (Sport & Splash). Mom was been removed from the home to be spayed & live out her life with a super family, along w/ several other pets too, that were to be killed since they weren't perfect, didn't live up to the expectations, or were just unwanted. Poor Binky was not only black, he is a male, and is going to need surgery, so luckily he was rescued before it was too late. He simply needs a hernia surgery while he's still young, and before it grows as he ages. Binky has a SUPER temperament, is very calm for his age & breed, loves to cuddle, yet loves to play too! He enjoys carrying stuffed toys in his mouth to play with, and then sprawling out on somone's lap :) Being a lab puppy, he can be overwhelming for a non-playful dog or an older one, but would be ideal for a mellow adult who still enjoys playtime....or another young dog to goof with :) Binky is just so cute & nice we cannot imagine him being put down for since bad reasons. We hope to have the surgery done prior to adoption, however the new family could have this done when they neuter him as well. If he is still available & we do the surgery, he will probably be neutered as well for the $75 adoption fee. But please realize due to space if we find a family willing to do the surgery, he could be adopted before that. It's unknown exactly how big Binky will get, but being about 12 wks now, we assume he's going to be a short, small lab. Please realize it's an estimate, so if size is an issue, he's probably not the puppy for you.
