This little munchkin is Birdie!
Birdie is around 2 years old and was brought into animal control as a stray with serious injuries. After several days of treatment at an emergency vet, she was not improving so the decision was made to transfer her to U of I for more treatment. This girl has been through a lot and pulled through like a champ! As she starts to feel better, her personality shows more and more. Birdie is an absolute silly little peanut!! It’s great to see her feeling so much better.
The vet gave the green light to walk a bit further each day and she is really great on a leash. Her foster momma also started positive reinforcement clicker training, and this little girl is SMART! Birdie is young and full of energy but is easily redirected. So far her favorite hobbies include: unfolding any type of laundry or blankets that have been recently folded, learning how to be the best girl she can be, exploring on walkies, and snuggling with her foster grandpa on the couch.
Birdie is potty trained, crate trained, and ready to find her forever loving him! Birdie would do great in a home with kids 12+, dog savvy cat friends, and dog friends tolerant of her excited play style.
