If you are a Poodle-lover, look no further! Blossom is a beautiful standard poodle who weighs 29 pounds at an estimated 1 year of age. Blossom and her assumed sister, Bubblegum (also posted for adoption), were found as strays in Arkansas in March and, since then, have been doing great in their AR-based foster home. As with most sporting breeds, these two are high energy girls. They spend lots of time running around their foster's large enclosed yard with the other dogs in the house. They also enjoy going on walks. Blossom is crate and leash trained; she will need to keep working on her house and obedience training at her forever home. She would love to find a family with the time and interest in keeping up with her physical and mental exercise every day. Blossom is ready for adventures and learning! Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
