Blue

Blue is a handsome devil of a guy who is looking for an active, loving home! This dude was found as a stray, and when we tracked down the owner, they said they couldn't take him back. Although that was disappointing, we're hoping to turn Blue's luck around and find him a fantastic home! Blue is a happy, active, athletic guy with a touch of the oh-so-common husky mischievousness! He really loves playing with the other dogs here at the shelter, and reportedly, was good at making friends at the local off-leash park. He has no experience with cats, and many huskies do like to chase little critters, so we're using caution and saying no cats or small animals for him, please. Blue does not have any experience with children, and plays pretty rough-and-tumble, so we are looking for a home with either older kids (12+) or adults only. Blue is not used to, nor enjoys being alone for long periods of time. He had near-constant companionship in his previous home, so he will need help to transition to being alone at home. Huskies are known for finding their own adventures if left outside alone for too long, so he would do well with supervised yard time. Blue is just shy of 2 years old. He has been vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and will be microchipped and neutered prior to his adoption being finalized. His adoption fee is $350 -+ tax.
