My Story

With one piercing blue eye that seems to stare into your soul, Blue Eyes is a 10-pound male Shih Tzu whose charm is simply irresistible. His friendly nature and love for humans are evident in his nonstop wagging tail, spreading joy to everyone around him. Blue Eyes also enjoys the company of other dogs and can often be found investigating every nook and cranny during puppy parties, his tail wagging the entire time. Clearly, he likes to do life his way, just like the legendary Frank Sinatra. Treats make Blue Eyes's heart sing, and his joy is contagious. He is likely to become a very loyal and loving companion, ready to explore the world with you on a daily basis. Are you ready to welcome this charming little explorer into your home? Blue Eyes is eager to bring his unique blend of joy and loyalty to his forever family. - - - - - Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
