Our beautiful Bluebell was born 12/22-23/23. She is a beautiful , sweet and feisty girl who just underwent very delicate surgery for PRAA (Presistent Right Aortic Arch). Puppies born with PRAA, experience an impinged/constricted esophigus due to the aortic valve that is blocking the flow of food to get to her stomach. Once she has recovered from her very recent surgery, her surgical team is hopeful that she should be able to eat, drink and live a totally normal ,healthy life. For now she is being treated like a Megaesophagus puppy, and needs to be held upright for 20-30min after each small meal, 4 x a day as her surgery heals.
