MY STORY: Blueberry came to CBHS as a stray. AGE: Approximately 6 years old. Meet Blueberry! Blueberry is the sweetest boy who absolutely adores attention. Blueberry was brought to CBHS after being found as stray. What makes his situation more upsetting is that Blueberry had been attacked by another dog and injured badly. He arrived at CBHS with lacerations to his legs, neck, and chest. He could not use his front left leg and there was concern that it may have to be amputated. He was immediately put into treatment and this loving and thankful boy began healing! Not only was he getting better every day, his amazing personality showed more! Blueberry is now healed and he has full function of his left front leg. He is looking for a home that will give him the love, care, and attention that he deserves. Since Blueberry was a stray, it is unknown if he has ever been around other animals. Obviously he has had a negative experience with a dog at some point, but he doesn't seem hold grudges. This amazing boy has met other dogs at CBHS and actually doesn't seem to mind having other doggy friends. He would need to meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption, just to make sure they can be the best of friends. Blueberry would love to be a part of your family!
