My Story

Come on now, puppies, lets dance together! Its the Bluey litter! These puppies are simply so adorable, and its certainly no wonder why they were named for one of the most treasured family of cartoon dogs around. This litter of Labrador Retriever mixes were rescued from Marion County, South Carolina (though for some reason they keep talking in an Australian accent). These five adorably playful pups are pure entertainment for all ages. At months 3.5 old, they still have some growing to do, but currently they weigh between 10 and 14 pounds. This little family is ready to embrace all the world has to offer! First up in the Bluey litter is the girl herself, Miss Bluey! This gorgeous girl has a solid black coat with a white tummy and the cutest little white socks on her feet. She is a curious girl who loves to sniff the world around her. Romping around and making people smile are among her most favorite activities. This animated girl is full of energy, imagination, and curiosity, and she would love to share her adventures with you. She would do great in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she is ready to make sure all of your days are filled with happiness and love. You will never be blue with Bluey around! Bluey is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" in Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org** HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life! In order to apply for adoption and set up an individual meet and greet with one of our dogs, please visit us at www.hfgdr.org. Find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HomeForGoodDogRescue.
