Bogey

Looks like: Shih Tzu/Poodle mix Male, 6 years old (estimated), 21 pounds Get ready to have a ball!! Or five! If it was up to this fun loving Dude, playing fetch would be the main agenda every day from sunrise to sunset. Of course, Bogey also enjoys going for walks and he is very well behaved on leash. He gets along with other dogs, but especially loves attention from people. At his foster home, he is mostly respectful around the two dog-savvy cats, although when he is in a bit of a rambunctious mood, he can get a bit too forward with them. He would love to go on lots of adventures with you, whether on a hike in the woods or a day at the beach. A big back yard with lots of room to chase a tennis ball would be his dream come true. The perfect end to Mr. Active's day is a long cuddle on the couch and then a snooze in a comfy bed. At the moment, Bogey is not a big fan of being picked up and being handled, but at his foster home he is learning to trust more every day. For now, though, he would prefer a child-free home. This pup is in excellent health and quickly adjusts to new surroundings and routines. With his happy tail, bouncy gait, and adorable face, he is ready for his forever home where he will put a smile on your face and brighten up your every day. Bogey came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after they reached out for help because the shelter was overfull.
