Bogey

A SWEET & HAPPY BOY: Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi there, I’m Bogey! I came to Mostly Mutts when I lost my home due to a move, so a nice lady temporarily took me in and worked with animal control to get me to Mostly Mutts. I’m thankful for that as I’m having the best time in a great foster home until my new family finds me! I needed a good dental cleaning which I have received thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the other young dog that’s in my foster home. He’s about the same size as me. We play and chase each other around, sleep alongside each other and enjoy each other’s company. I also liked the dogs that were in my temporary home. / The woman who helped me get to MM reported that I was good with cats, so if you have a kitty that likes dogs, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: Everyone who has met me says that I’m a super sweet boy and that sure makes me happy! I was such a good boy for my initial bath, ear cleaning and brushing when I arrived at MM. In my foster home, I love sitting in laps or snuggling against you on the couch and I’ll run to you and flop on my back at your feet so I can get lots of belly rubs. I have spurts of playfulness, but I also enjoy taking naps. I can be a little vocal when I’m excited, but I calm down fairly quickly. / I have a medium energy level, around 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m familiar with ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘let’s go’ for when my foster wants me to follow him, and ‘potty’ for when it’s time to go outside. I also walk nicely on my leash. I’m sure you can teach me lots more as I seem to be a smart boy! / The crate was new to me when I arrived at MM but my crate manners have been good in my foster home with only a little barking the first night. / My potty manners have been good in my foster home! • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love belly rubs, naps, exploring the back yard, playing with the other dog in my foster home, being close to my people and dog bones. / I haven’t shown any dislikes yet in my foster home but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I came in with ear infections which have been treated and I needed a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again! I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
