Meet Bonobo! He is a 7 year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs just 16 lbs. Bonobo came to CHA through our partnership with ASPCA. He may be nervous when meeting new people, but bonds closely and deeply with his familiar people. Once he knows you, he is very snuggly and just wants to curl up with you on the couch. When you pet him, he will lean hard into your lap and flip onto his side to lay on you. Bonobo would also be the perfect buddy for a casual stroll in the park because he loves to walk and sniff. He even has great leash manners! Bonobo doesn't mind spending time with other dogs either.
