Boomer is a 1.5 year old, male, hound mix. He's a lively boy who's full of energy and loves to run. Boomer is athletic, strong, and very handsome. He's treat-oriented and loves toys. He jumps up sometimes and needs to learn some manners but, with a lot of exercise and some obedience training, he would make a great family pet.

All the animals at the shelter are spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, are microchipped, and have current rabies vaccines and Alachua County licenses. With all adoptions we offer a free vet exam to the vet of your choice in Alachua County. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and puppies, $75 for cats and kittens, and $45 for New Hope dogs or $33 for New Hope cats. New Hopes are animals that have been here for an extended period of time.
