If you're looking for a goofy, bouncy, chunky pit mix with all the qualities of a labrador, Boost is for you! The first thing you need to know about Boost is that he is scared of the world, initially. He experienced human trauma early in his life and so it will take a few days for him to open up. And when he does, cherish that love and trust he gives you, it's so special!! He is looking for an adopter to be his forever companion. He deserves nothing less than someone to fall in love with him. He cannot have any more trauma in his life. He is great off leash, he hikes trails with his foster and never wonders off. He's a faithful co-pilot. He is very puppy like when he plays with toys. He is not toy or resource aggressive. He plays well with other dogs. His foster has been slowly introducing him to play groups because in his fear of the world he can also become protective of his human companion. With a few minutes of positive verbal communication and playful body language, he opens up to other dogs but will keep an eye on his human companion to make sure he's not left behind.
