Hey pals! I go by the name Bootsie! I've been hanging out at the Bisbee Animal Shelter for a whopping 439 days (that's 1 year & 2 months)! Time sure flies when you're having fun! While I adore my shelter buddies, what I'd love even more is a cozy home to call my own! I landed at the shelter as a mysterious stray, so my backstory remains a secret to my shelter pals. They rave that I'm a top-notch pup. They suspect I'm a husky mix (but no DNA test yet to confirm) and estimate I'm around 3 years old, weighing in at approximately 60 lbs. I may be a bit cautious around new faces at first, but once I warm up, I'm a total sweetheart! Treats, strolls, and romps with my petite dog pals are my jam! However, I tend to get a bit too excited around cats, so a feline-free home would suit me best. I'm a brainiac, a lone wolf, and oh-so motivated by food. Training me is a breeze! I strut like a pro on a leash, ace my bathroom breaks, and ride like a champ in the car. My dream pad would be with a moderately active crew who'll bring me along on their outdoor escapades and snuggle me up every night
