Bowie

Bowie is a 4-5 year old, 4.7lbs Maltese. He has been shaved down so that he can have a beautiful new coat grow in whereas he had a mess of tangles and knots before. He was found running the streets and a lovely family saved him just before he got hit by a car. They put up signs, contacted local shelters, and after 2 months contacted us and asked if we could help them.

Bowie is a character. He is full of personality and spunk. He loves other dogs but loves you most of all. He'd be perfectly happy to hang out with you all day long. He's definitely a lap warmer but as his foster mom says, 'Not much of one since he's so tiny!'. Bowie loves his little sweaters, loves to be doted on and would thrive in a home that wants to make him a little King. Pint size King.

Bowie is fine with cats and we will consider kids who have had small dog experience in the home and are over the age of 8. He is tiny and delicate and so easily injured so we won't place in a home with very small children, though he has a wonderful personality that is right for just about any type of home.
