MEET BRANDY: Hello there! My name is Brandy, and I'm a 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a heart full of love. I weigh a petite 7 pounds, and I came from a breeder's house where I was used for breeding. Luckily, I was surrounded by other small dogs and thrived in that environment. At first, I may be a little timid, but as soon as I warm up to you, I become a happy-go-lucky bundle of joy! I absolutely adore small dogs and even get along well with cats. I especially enjoy the company of dog-savvy kids who understand how delicate I am due to my size. Although I am not housebroken, I am pee pad trained, so with a little consistency and patience, I can become the perfect addition to your home. I'm also not leash trained, so a fenced-in yard would provide me with the freedom I need to explore and play safely. In order to keep my beautiful coat looking its best, I will require grooming every 6 weeks to prevent matting. But don't worry, I'll make it worth your while with my sweet and loving personality. Unfortunately, I did not have the best hygiene so I am missing quite a few teeth. And I'm slightly embarrassed but I still needed a dental because our entire family had dental disease which means I had heavy tartar that was not properly taken care of. Thankfully, FTAR got me my much needed dental cleaning. That being said, I require wet food for my feedings as I do not have many teeth to chew hard food. Currently, I am searching for my forever family, who can provide me with a calmer environment and a less busy household. I thrive in a serene atmosphere and would love a family who can shower me with love and attention.
