Meet Braxton, a charming 8-year-old Chihuahua mix who recently lost his owner and is now searching for a new forever home. Weighing in at a petite 19 pounds, Braxton has short tan hair and an incredibly sweet nature. Though he was initially a bit nervous, his true personality is beginning to shine through. He is a very loving little guy who enjoys being held and absolutely adores treats. This friendly pup has shown he gets along well with kids and other dogs, though we are not certain about his experience with cats.Braxton is a medium-energy companion, ready for adventures with new pet parents who will need to continue practicing good leash walking skills with him and reinforce his house/crate training. Helping Braxton transition into his new home can be as simple as taking him for neighborhood walks, visiting the local dog park for some small dog socialization, or just relaxing at home with a new toy.At the end of the day, his favorite place to be is snuggling on the couch with his family. He is looking for a loving household that will cherish him for the rest of his life.
