My Story

Breydon and Abree are wheaten colored Scottish Terriers who are just reaching 6 months old. They’ve been in foster with us 3 months now. They came from PA breeders because they could not sell them due to medical issues. Breydon was born without a regular knee joint on one back leg and has been receiving physical therapy this last 3 months to get him moving well as he grows and strengthening his leg muscles. He can get around fine, playing and doing steps, he has learned to compensate for his needs. Abree was born with a hernia which she has outgrown over the last 3 months, with close observation by our vet. They are otherwise very healthy and are up to date on their vaccines. This sister and brother are very bonded and really love each other, so ideally we’d like to see them adopted together. We are looking for an adopter for them, preferrably with a fenced yard, who owns their own home, no young children, no pool unless separately fenced, northeast, and who is home enough for growing puppies. They love to run and play and a good deal of space is a big plus. They will be available for adoption soon, so we are starting to review applications. They are successfully living with other dogs around their size. We think they will be fine with cats due to their age. Please contact Erica Cerny at [email protected] or 973-361-6790 for further information.
