Say hi to Brooklyn, the 4 year old girl who came in to the shelter after local PD was called about a dog locked in a car, in the heat, for a period of time. Local police got on the scene, and observed to see if any owner would come forward. They were able to get her out of the car and bring her straight to us. Thankfully, Brooklyn was medically all clear. We did find her owner, who wound up surrendering her to us. Brooklyn lived in a home for most of her life, so now that she is at a shelter it is understandably, a bit of a change for her. She is interested in all of the new sounds and smells on our training trails. Brooklyn can become playful, and enjoys being outside! At this time, Brooklyn can go to a home with older teens, 16 and up.
