Bruce

This handsome hunk of puppy love is Bruce. Bruce came to us with his six littermates and his mom when their owner surrendered them. Bruce was born 11/23/2023 and looking for his perfect person/family. In general, and for unknown reasons, Bruce is a very timid boy until he knows he is safe. He will react by trying to flee from loud noises, overly energetic dogs, and new people. This reaction is short-lived, and once he knows he is safe and secure, he turns into the fun, playful, very loving boy you would expect him to be. He is a smart boy and is almost completely potty-trained and crate trained. We do not know how he is with cats/small animals, or children, so he would have to be tested for compatibility. The perfect home for Bruce is one that can work with his fears and help him overcome them with patience and love. We do not believe this is a lifelong problem but one that has a teachable/trainable solution. A fenced yard for him to explore, be comfortable in, and get his zoomies in would be great but optional. A home that currently has a confident dog or two would be beneficial to help Bruce learn how to navigate those things he perceives as scary and overcome his fears.
