Are you looking for a dog who'll turn heads everywhere you go? Look no further than Bruno. He's not only strikingly handsome, at 90+ lbs he's a big boy who'd like a big couch for Netflix and chill nights. Here at the shelter, we've found that Bruno has the perfect level of energy. He's definitely happy to get out of the kennel and explore, but as mentioned just above, he'll enjoy relaxing with you, too. When it comes to walking, he does best on a harness, so ask your counselor for advice on the different styles and how to choose.Once he's "dressed for the occasion, he's good to go, whether it's for walks in the neighborhood or the woods, or even on the beach. It's not the scenery that matters to him, it's the companionship, and he'd love to be your walking buddy. Bruno loves people, and he responds especially well to treats and petting, so if you'd like to spend time petting his gleamy coat while offering snacks, he's not going to say no. He already knows how to sit, lie down and offer a paw when asked, and you'll find that teaching him the rest of the basics will be a great way to bond with him. His love of treats will also make him an easy dog to motivate as you train. Because Bruno came to us from another shelter, we don't know what his past living situation was like. We think he'd make a great dog for any kind of home and family, so before he goes home with you, we'll introduce him to everyone in the household here at the shelter to make sure everybody's a good fit. We'd also like to introduce him here to any dogs who are already part of your family, since we don't know if he's ever had canine friends or not.
