My Story

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Introducing Bruno, a 7-month-old Chow mix who is as sweet as he is shy. Weighing in at 40 pounds, this fluffy bundle of love has a soft, gorgeous coat that's perfect for snuggles. Bruno has a gentle personality and a medium energy level, making him an ideal companion for a variety of lifestyles. Bruno loves the company of other dogs and really shines when he has a social dog friend to show him the ropes. Although he doesn't know any specific commands just yet, his love for treats makes him a quick learner. He's already showing promise by running into his crate for treats and heading to the door when it's time to go outside. His favorite activities include chasing squirrels, playing with other dogs, and he's gradually getting the hang of toys and walks. Bruno is polite and curious around cats, and while he hasn't met any kids yet, his gentle demeanor suggests he'd do well with a bit of patience and love. Bruno walks well on a leash and is a good car passenger once he's been lifted into the car. He's looking for a loving home with a fenced yard and a happy, social dog companion to help him continue to grow in confidence. If you have Chow experience and are ready to welcome a sweet, shy, and incredibly endearing pup into your home, Bruno is the perfect match. Adopt Bruno and experience the joy of watching him blossom into the confident, loving dog he's meant to be! Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
