Bruno

Meet Bruno! He's an all around great guy. He loves people - he's never met a stranger - and he bonds strongly to his person. He's a fan favorite at our rescue. He also gets along great with other dogs. He's fantastic on the leash, and knows some basic behaviors like sit, lay down and come. Bruno a pretty active guy, and would love to accompany you on hikes or long walks in nature. He'd prefer a home with a fully fenced yard and perhaps another rough and tumble dog to play with - he'd be fine on his own too - he's easy going that way. Bruno is housebroken and crate trained. We're currently working on teaching him some house manners - he has a tendency to de-stuff toys in a split second, and if you're not careful, he'll snag a pillow or a dog bed while he's at it. He has a tough time understanding which toys are his, and which aren't. So our trainers are working on giving him some new house skills to help him choose a bit more wisely when it comes to playing with toys. In the meantime, it's pretty easy to trade him for treats if he steals something he shouldn't have.
