Bubbie

Look into the soulful eyes of sweet Bubbie! He has been the bestest boy with his foster and is now ready for his happily ever after. He came to Lancaster SPCA about a year ago, found in emaciated, defeated, and terrible condition. We don't know what happened to him before that, but it's safe to say that someone was not kind to him. It has taken a lot of time and work to get him healthy, both physically and mentally. But look at him now - healthy and more confident than ever before. He has been enjoying living as a member of the family with our foster and has come a long way with lots of TLC and patience. He is dog and cat-friendly, house and crate-trained. He is taking antianxiety meds per the vet's advice and he is doing so well! He has been working on his leash skills and learning to trust. He needs an adopter who will be kind and patient and continue working on trust-building skills. He is approximately 2 years old, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He would do best in a home with other pets but no very young children. Bubbie deserves a chance to live his life with a family who loves him and will understand his need for a safe and nurturing environment. He is such a good boy and wants to please.
