Buck

Available for Adoption - Buck Tennessee (will transport to approved adopter) Meet Buck known as Buckethead from Memphis Animal Services. He was picked up by AC in January, 2024. They safely removed the bucket from his head. No one knows how long it was there but he was unable to eat, drink, or hardly breath well because it was stuck. The local news covered his story. He got was adopted almost immediately. Everyone was happy for him. Skip forward to June, 2024. The same dog was picked up as a stray in Memphis for the second time and added to the euthanization list. This young brindle Praina Canara (type/mix of mastiff) was in trouble of losing his precious life simply because they were over capacity. He checked all of the boxes otherwise. With much help from many people including his foster, we were able to save him before his deadline. He weighs around 74 lbs and is 1 - 1/2 years, so he should be full grown. His foster says he is a great dog and she still hasn't heard him bark yet. He's easy going and ready to please. He runs zoomies and plays w his toys. He is a great family dog. He's good with children and other dogs. He is house trained and current on vaccinations (including being microchipped and neutered). He has a great personality and loves being loved.
