Hi! I’m Bucky,a 6-year-old girl who's the epitome of sweetness and affection. I love fetch, belly rubs, and hanging out with my family. I’ll happily start a good tug-of-war over a stick or a frolic with my dog neighbors. When I’m relaxing inside you’ll likely find me by you on the couch or in my kennel, which I’ll also gladly hangout in as I wait for you to come home. I love other dogs but I can take a moment to warm up. Once I do I’ll be a social butterfly. With appropriate introductions, a chill space to say hi organically, I’ll be ready to hangout with my canine friends. I just need to feel comfortable and prepared. I haven’t had any cat tests since coming to rescue, so I’m not quite sure how I’d do there and although I don’t currently live with kids, my affectionate nature suggests I could do well. What would my perfect day include? Balls, sticks, a blanket, some time to run and play fetch, but I’m an easy-going girl happy to do much of anything. I could live without the sound of the vacuum and a nail trim, but who wouldn’t? With 15-30 minutes of playtime in the yard I’m golden for the day, and will spend much of the rest of it sleeping or calmly chilling at home. I have no issues with being left alone but will always happily choose to hangout with people. I’m not particularly vocal so could adjust well to an apartment without too much stimuli, and would love a fenced-in yard, but really I’m just looking for a family that wants to love me as much as I’m ready to love them! However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
