Buddy was surrendered to the shelter when his owners could no longer keep him. He was much loved and is waiting for another family to adopt him.
Buddy can be a bit nervous in the beginning but quickly warms up. He isn't quite sure what to do with toys yet but he is happy to chase them in the yard. His leash skills are excellent, and he uses his hound senses to study his surroundings when he is walking.
Buddy would do better in a calmer home as he is nervous of loud noises. He would also need a slow introduction to cats. He will be an affectionate companion.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
