Meet Buddy! Buddy is about 5 years old, 55 lbs, and he is a mutt! Buddy was brought to the pound in Alabama, and was Heartworm positive. He has been treated for Heartworm and is now ready for his forever home. In his foster home, he's doing great with his house-training, crate- training and leash-walking. He loves to go on adventures and has joined his local foster family on multiple trips already! He does great in the car and adjusts well to new environments. He could go to a home with dog-savvy kids, and other playful dogs. He might be able to successfully live with a dog-savvy cat as long as they wouldn't mind a dog who's curious and may chase from time to time. His foster says, "Buddy is a gentle, sweet soul who just loves to play and hang out with humans and other dogs. He occasionally will chase a ball when you throw it, but rarely ever brings it back. He loves to play tug and go for long walks. He loves it when you brush him and scratch his ears. He’s a bit of a goofball sometimes when he knows he has your full attention and will make puppy play moves. He will bring so much fun and love to any home." He is available for adoption in Newton or Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter.
