Buddy

Buddy came to us 2021 very thin with multiple injuries. He had been attacked by something. Buddy has a lot of scarring which shows that he has been attacked multiple times. It was suspected that he was used as a bait dog based on his injuries. Yet Buddy is a sweet boy despite what he has been through. He does have some barrier agression so a crate free home would be good until he can be worked with to learn that a kennel is a safe place. Buddy does not like male dogs. A submissive female may work if introduced slowly. We don't recommend small children. He doesn't not react well to some. He is also a large dog with lots of energy who may knock them over. He eats like each meal like its his last. He will require compassion from his new owner and they will need to be willing to take things slow with him other than giving him love. He loves to go for walks and gets very excited when he sees people he knows and feels safe with. He just wants attention from humans. If he has the choice of getting love or toys, he will chose love.
