To watch Little Buddy is to witness a spark of pure joy. Whether he is streaking through the yard as fast as his little legs will take him, or curled up under his foster care giver's chin for a puppy nap, Little Buddy's every pursuit is filled with happiness, enterprise, and absolute trust.

Little Buddy has never considered the possibility that the world contains anything other than love and good things. He greets everyone - cats, dogs, and people - with openness, interest, and great affection. He samples each of his toys with approval. He eats his meals with gusto and dispatch. He soaks up love and cuddling like a sponge. He is the consummate Epicurean in a tiny package, and his kindly enjoyment of the world is quite comical.

Beautifully alert and responsive, Little Buddy comes when he is called, his long velvety ears streaming behind him, legs pumping, eyes intent on another delightful mission. He is quite pleased to discover a cat asleep in his little fleece bed, and most happy to snuggle in next to this welcome friend.

Physically, Buddy is a splendid looking guy, although he seems blithely unaware of his own good looks, and indeed appears to be in constant admiration of others.

His training is already quite excellent for a young fellow. He has done everything in his power to emulate the good behaviors he witnesses in his foster siblings, including considerate usage of his puppy pads, rarely using his outdoor voice inside, and focusing on his foster mom and dad whenever they are addressing him.

Of course, Buddy is still a pup, but he will be a joy to train and nurture. Because of his open and generous spirit, Little Buddy's nature is as steady and as sunny as the June days he rushes to greet each morning.
