This is Buddy, he is 9 yrs old & I’ve had him for 8 yrs. He came from Austin animal shelter, so he is neutered. He is 12lbs.
Buddy gets along with other dogs, but not so much with cats. He just is not used to cats and has not lived with them, he’s more scared of them.
Buddy is very loving & loves to be on your lap to get some loving or just nap. When meeting new people he can be very timid in the beginning, but doesn’t take long before he’s made some new friends.
He barks but that’s what dogs do and he’s just alerting me of potential danger.
Thunder & lightning does cause him a lot of anxiety. I usually wrap him in a blanket and hold him. Playing music or maybe a TV helps to block out the storm.
A household with no children would be an ideal match. He’s very protective with his treats and food.
He is housebroken and he knows to stay when I tell him to.
He will come with all of his things. Leash, harness, bed, blanket, a few toys & clothes.
He is due for his rabies booster & I will pay for that. I have mobility issues & cannot care for him like I should.
