My Story

THANK YOU FOR HELPING BUDDY LANTZ! His surgery has been paid in full! And Buddy has found his forever home with Linda B. in RI

UPDATE 5/22: Buddy Lantz has had his hip surgery and is doing great. He has arrived in MA and is being fostered in Walpole. We still need donations to help us pay the vet for his surgery. The vet bill was $556.25. We have so far collected $230 (see below for donation information). Buddy's adopter has found that she is allergic to dogs, so poor Buddy still has no forever home, can you give him one? He is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met in rescue.

This sweet 4 yr old boy was found by an elderly woman after having been hit by a car: he was literally starving, yet his tail would not stop wagging! He has been living in a foster home and LOVES other dogs, adults, children, toys: and, of course, in true beagle form: loves FOOD! He is a medium sized boy at 40 lbs. This is a social, loving, dog/kid friendly little guy who really enjoys life IN SPITE of having been starved and run over: can you help him get well with a donation? Boy, this boy is worth it! Buddy has a forever home now as of 5/31 with Linda B. in RI, but we still are hoping for some donations to help cover his vet fees. Adoption fee: $350 will include his neuter, vaccinations and transportation. To make a donation for Buddy Lantz' medical care, please click here. Thank you to donors Christine B., Jennifer K, Joanne W, Jennifer F,Stephanie S., and Lindy S., Karissa U., Kathy, S. and to all who made donations and bought little stuffed pups at our adoption event in RI. Buddy's surgery has been paid in full!
