This cuddly boy is Buggsy! Buggsy is a happy-go-lucky pup who loves attention from everyone! People seem to be his favorite thing! Buggsy went foster to adopt for a few weeks but was brought back because the adopter felt like his home wasn't the best fit and thought Buggsy would be happiest with a family and more people to play with. The potential adopter did not crate Buggsy but he still showed himself to be a very good boy in the home and was housebroken and nondestructive. The potential adopter thought that Buggsy probably has a good amount of energy and would like running around with an active family, but was fairly relaxed during his time with him. He has spent some time around a family member's dog, but he did not have a lot of interest in them and was much happier just hanging around people. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
