My Story

05/24/24 05:53 DOG DAY OUT REPORT Today I: went on my first Dog Day Out and I loved it! My favorite part was resting in the grass and enjoying the sunshine. Three Words to Describe Me are: Sweet, Affectionate, Easy Going Notes from my walker: I got to take Burg out on his first Dog Day Out! This guy is an absolutely perfect meatball. Poor Burg is nervous in the shelter and thinks its a pretty scary place, so he was excited to get out of there for the day! He needed some help getting into the car and some help out too when we parked (hes a low rider, so very understandable)! We walked around Willow Glens downtown and in the neighborhoods. Burg enjoyed a loose leash stroll, liked to take his time sniffing, didnt pull and had no reactivity passing other dogs or people. We stopped for a coffee and water break, and he sat nicely and came up to my lap for some pets. We did around 2 miles and then took another break in the grass and he seemed to really enjoy just relaxing and decompressing. Hes a total love bug and would enjoy daily walks, but probably not need a ton of exercise. I imagine his favorite thing to do would be to cuddle up with his humans!
