My Story

Burt is such a big baby! This beautiful boy is a little slow to warm up but once he knows you he LOVES you. He begs for belly rubs from our wardens and loves to press his body up against their legs for pets. Burt definitely acts like he’s been hit because if someone new puts their hand over his head he gets really nervous. But like we said, visit him a few times, and you’re golden! Most people don’t want to invest the time to get to know a shelter dog before bringing them home…but honestly, if you can’t take the time to get to know this guy, you don’t deserve all the love he has to give. Burt is estimated to be around 2-3 years old. A meet and greet would be required with any other pups. Call 740-474-3741 to meet this GREAT guy!
