Butterscotch

Butterscotch was spotted at an abandoned house by Good Samaritan’ s who noticed she was way too thin. Apparently she was left and waiting for someone to come back for her which speaks volumes of her loyalty. Rescue was alerted and this girl is thriving in foster care. She radiates happiness that she is being petted, loved, kept warm and cozy and valued again. Butterscotch had eye removed from possible infection or injury in her past. She sees wonderful with one. We love to hear her talk when she rolls in the floor, her sounds are precious!! She loves to run the fence with the neighbor dog and another foster dog. She has been a house and outside dog in the past and loves coming inside. She will be a wonderful loyal companion. Butterscotch deserves a home where she will never be left again. All of her vetting needs are scheduled this week. Hopefully she will be ready for a new home very soon! Butterscotch is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has been treated for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
