BUTTONS **SAD STORY**

Buttons 8 years Female, spayed Buttons is a very lucky girl to be with our Humane Society. A couple of months ago she was found abandoned in a dumpster. She had been very neglected, was underweight, had a bad skin condition, fleas and a double ear infection. To make matters worse for her, she is totally blind. Our animal control officers located the owner and pressed charges against him for animal cruelty. Recently, the judge awarded custody of Buttons to the Humane Society. Button has been in her foster home for over two months now and is doing great. She is a happy, sweet, loving, well-behaved young lady who will make a wonderful companion for someone. She navigates remarkably well for a dog who cannot see. She can go up and downstairs get in and out of a car, goe in and out of her crate and even plays with toys and other dogs. She is very quiet and is happy to sit beside you on the couch and cuddle. Buttons is ready to find her happily ever after.
