My Story
Calahan is a delightful 2-year-old boy weighing 53 pounds. He was found abandoned, wearing a pink harness. Despite his rough start, Calahan is a smart and loving companion who enjoys the company of humans. He dreams of being a couch potato and absolutely loves to relax on the couch and cuddle with his humans. Not only is he great with people, but he also enjoys playing with other dogs and going on long, leisurely walks. Calahan is well-behaved and knows basic commands such as sit, come, stay, leave it, and heel. His excellent leash walking skills make him a joy to walk. While he has been around cats, he is still unsure about them. In addition, Calahan is neutered, heartworm, and Lyme negative, and up to date on his vaccines. As the saying goes, "Home is where the dog runs to greet you."
