My name is Callie! I am currently in a foster home with seven other hounds and I'm really loving it! I'm active and friendly, but I'm not the kind of girl that shares her place with a cat. I lived with children in my foster home in Kansas and they said I did very well with them and have done well with the children that visit here. I do need a little work on walking with a leash because I pull, but I do learn quickly. I could tell my new fosters were cautious about introducing me to their pack, because they only brought me one at a time. It only took an hour and I'd met all seven (they're all hounds too!). We're totally cool now. I do get fed in a kennel because I eat really fast and will try and eat other pets' food and don't like them around my food. I am potty trained and never have any accidents even when it's storming and I won't go outside. Anyway, I think I like it here, and I can't wait to see who my forever-peeps are going to be. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment and started on heartworm prevention.
