He's a little hesitant in new situations, but give him some time to get acclimated and you'll see why he's a volunteer favorite. Canelo goes to playgroups here at the shelter where he loves to play with his dog buddies. He's spent time in a volunteer's home with her two smaller dogs and did a great job of matching his energy level to theirs when they didn't want to play as rowdy as he did. Good boy! He'd definitely benefit from daily play time or a walk, whether with a dog friend or his people. At a volunteer's home, he seemed housetrained. When left alone in the kitchen, he relaxed easily.
