Here is a sweet and mellow six-year-old gentleman, Canelos favorite day would consist of whatever you want to do. Morning hike? Canelo will stay right by your sidehe walks very well on leash! Rather sleep in and then hit the drive thru? Canelos happy to snooze in his dog bed then join you for a pup cup (hes got great car manners too). More than anything, he adores people: on all of his trips around town, hes eager to give big hugs and kisses to every kiddo, teen, and grown-up that he seesjust check out the video below for proof! Canelo is also an expert in Nose Work, an enrichment activity that allows dogs to de-stress, builds their confidence, and fosters a bond between dog and handler. He also knows Sit, Down, and Shake! Canelo has been dog selective here at the shelter but neutral to interested in other dogs while out in the world. If you already have a dog at home, feel free to bring them in for a Meet and Greet.
