Canelo has been with the shelter for over 180 days! He is a shy guy who often hides at the back of his kennel when potential adopters are walking through often causing adopters to miss him. Due to his fearful nature, he may be best suited for a home that can provide him with a calm and quiet environment, especially while he adjusts to being at home. He would prefer a home with older teens or adults only. Canelo has had great interactions with other dogs and participates in dog play groups. He would do better in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help show him the ropes.
