Sweet Cannoli is a loving, gentle and playful pup. He has an adorably stoic face and dignified demeanor. But, he can be charmingly goofy as well. He loves loves loves his toys and will crack you up with his antics while prancing around with them. He's also a major cuddler who loves to sidle up in bed with you. And in his initial foster, he slept with their teenage son every night. Sadly, the resident dog went after Cannoli a few times (likely a result of resource guarding) and it was no longer a fit. So he is currently in boarding where is beloved by all the staff while awaiting another foster or forever home.
This adorable 10-year-old pup has had a rough start in life. In addition to losing his foster home, he previously wound up at the NYC shelter after sustaining an injury that has left with a wobbly walk. But this incredibly intrepid pup does not let it get him down. He frolics in the yard like pups half his age and is brimming with life.
We think he would likely do ok in an experienced home with other dogs who can manage any resource guarding potential. Hazel has been waiting soooo long for a foster or forever home. How about giving this noble, deserving dog a chance to live out his golden years with you?
