Meet Cannoli: Your New Best Friend! Are you ready to add a sweet, loving companion to your life? Let us introduce you to Cannoli, a 2.5-year-old, 40 pound, chocolate lab mix who’s looking for a special forever home. Cannoli came from a rough start from a cruelty case out of state. She was brought to the ASPCAs Cruelty Recovery Center for both medical and behavioral support. While in our care she was treated for heartworm disease, and underwent behavioral care for mild fear. She has completed her heartworm treatment, and is ready to live a long and fulfilling life! Cannoli might be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—once she warms up to you, she’s as loyal and affectionate as they come. She’s a quiet soul who finds comfort in the presence of familiar faces and is incredibly friendly with those she knows and trusts. With her mild fearfulness, she will thrive in a calm, consistent, and loving environment where she can gradually build her confidence. She does very well with other dogs and would enjoy to have a companion in the home! While being in our care she has gone for sleepovers and does very well overnight! She loves to sleep in the bed, ride in the car, and hang out with her friends. If you’re looking for a furry friend who will cherish your company and be a steadfast companion, Cannoli might just be the perfect match for you. All meet and greets are set up by appointments, and it is recommend to bring any other dogs/people in the home to make sure it is a good fit!
