Meet Capone! This stunning young boy, Capone found himself at an overcrowded shelter in NC. Our rescue pulled him into foster care and he's ready for his own family. Capone is super sweet and affectionate. He is just over a year old. We're not entirely sure of his breed mix, but we think he's got some GSD/Lab/Cur/Staffie mixes in there! He is smart, learns quickly and already knows sit, lay down, go to bed. He sleeps all night in crate, house trained. This young pup absolutely thrives on routine and structure. Capone is a very active large pup, with lots of energy. He loves to chew Benebones and he loves peanut butter. Capone loves other dogs and people. He gets excited on walks, just wanting to play with everyone! A fenced in yard and another dog to romp with would be ideal for this boy! Capone does have a strong prey drive, so no cats!! As he is a large 'toddler', full of excitement and bouncy, he may accidentally knock over small children, so a home without any small kids is preferred. He will need a confident pack leader and a family who will continue his training, teach him new things and integrate him into their lives! He would make a really good jogging/running partner, going for hikes, and would really love to have a fursibling, maybe a little older, to help keep him busy. Capone is stunningly handsome and a good all round pup that would fit in with an active family.
