Captain

Hi, I'm Captain! I'm an 8-year-old yellow lab looking to be your loyal companion. I weigh 85 lbs, and I’m a big fan of water—creeks, ponds, and maybe even being a boat dog! I get along great with the 4 & 6-year-old little humans in my foster home, playing with them and giving them kisses. My favorite spot is right next to you on the couch—personal space is overrated, right? I’m pretty smart—I know “sit” and “paw.” At home, I’m all about stuffies, squeaky toys, and bones. I’d also like a nice yard to play in, and I hope you enjoy going for walks because I've been practicing! Oh, and I LOVE car rides with my foster family! At the end of the day, I just want to keep your feet warm and snuggle with you in bed. I’m a true gentleman with excellent house manners. I’m house trained and crate trained, but my foster mom leaves me out of the crate because I don’t get into trouble. Like many of us older dogs, I take a couple of pills daily, but it’s nothing to worry about. I take my Captain duties seriously and would be happy as your only pet or with a calm furry friend who respects my leadership.
