Carly

Carly is a 3.5 year old spayed female Australian Shepherd who weighs 41.2 lbs. Carly was surrendered to All 4 Paws by a breeding kennel when they were through with her. She came into our care very soon after weaning the last litter of puppies she'll ever have. We are focusing on mama now and providing her with the life she deserves. Her world has been turned upside down. She's in a home for the first time in her life and has her own things, like a crate, a bed, and food dishes. Carly is keeping to herself, and her foster family is giving her the space she needs. She is now choosing to follow her foster mom around the house, curious what she is up to! Trusting humans to be kind and gentle is a new experience for sweet Carly, but she does enjoy gentle pets. She will need a quiet home with a family willing to work alongside her to build her confidence and teach her how amazing the life of a dog should be. We are still learning what she will need in the future, but she'd benefit from a home with a fenced-in yard in a quiet neighborhood. In the past, Carly has gotten along well with larger dogs and likes to meet new friends on her walks. We have no doubt a special someone will lay eyes on this beautiful girl and know they can provide her with everything she needs and more. She'll repay you tenfold with love and devotion.
